I agree that is wrong but even protection isn't 100% effective.

I never understood that kind of thinking, why is it that if a pregnant woman is murdered the perp is charged with two counts?

How does a baby coming outside the protective layer of it's mother change your opinion? I'm curious. I think you are saying that killing somebody's newborn child would be murder but an abortion is not a human being but living tissue so it's different.

I love this topic......just for the record I can't have an abortion so the point is mute with me, but I have always felt like this was a bad choice for anyone to make.....IMHO...

I think abortion can be a tragic decision to make. But I also think the choice is up to the woman. I don't have the right to force my opinion on anyone else through legislation just as I wouldn't want them to force their opinion on me. You know, like the golden rule...? o:

I respect everyones opinions even if I 100% agree that it is a bad opinion but what has become of this world to put a right before life?

The point is that there will always be abortions whether it is legal or not. Making it legal provides a safer, sterile environment to have it done. Making it illegal means more women will die of septic abortions, like before.

Septic aborters need to go to a mental hopsital. If I get shot in the line of duty, is is sane and smart for be to remove the bullet myself and treat it myself? NO, its being suicidal...

If you get shot in the line of duty, you can be cared for in a hospital. If abortion is illegal one cannot do that so yours isn't a good analogy.

A septic abortion can be caused by a desperate woman trying to self-abort, or by an abortionist performing the procedure under conditions that aren't sterile. A mental hospital has no place in either scenario because the woman is desperate, not crazy.

You can die from attempting to self-abort, its crazy.

I saw a movie where a woman died from an illegal abortion. I feel it's wrong but....it is also not against the law. I voice my opinion in a respectful way I hope. I would never endanger anyone for doing something I don't agree with.

Exactly. We all have our opinions. This topic can get messy but as of now, it is being debated in a mature way. So I will let it continue
