RE: Gay Marriage?
I think that's crap, if they keep it upto themselves its fine, but they are mentally sick people according to me with a behavioural dis order!! Maybe like someday some doctors will be able to claim we have a cure for gays and lesbians!!

RE: Gay Marriage?
It is sickening. A marriage is between a man and a woman. Nothing more, nothing less.

RE: Gay Marriage?
Personally, I disagree with them being married because it offends a tradition and forces change. They need to create their own tradition of the way they do it. Thats my 2 cents.

RE: Gay Marriage?
I think gays should be allowed to marry and have the same rights as anyone else. Who does it hurt? No one. As far as tradition goes, so what? Things change and they often should. A married woman couldn't even get credit in her own name until around 50 years ago and changing that wasn't an offense to anyone and was the right thing to do. So I don't see "tradition" as a good reason to oppose change, and neither are bigotry and homophobia.

By the time they had diminished from 50 to eight, the other dwarves began to suspect "Hungry".

The more people who say stuff like that, the worse America is going to get. Don't expect it to ever get any better.

Who does it hurt? It hurts America. The more we allow nasty and sick stuff, the world isn't going to get any better, only worse.

RE: Gay Marriage?
We all have different viewpoints and opinions, this is the great thing about America, freedom of thought. If everyone agreed with eachother, personally I would be bored with it. I don't have any issue with homosexuals, I dont choose to be that way because in my mind, I only like women. I don't find anything wrong with that. We all have our preferences such as the fact I like to date older woman (4 to 6 years older than I). Why? because I think they are more mature to help me on some of my bad decisions.

I dont exactly think gay people are sick but I just don't get into it.

On the marrage issue, it would be taking away the right of freedom of religion to force the churches to marry gay couples. It is a sin in their belief system and they should have the governing right. Let us remember, the first marrage was between man and woman.

If homosexuals wish to "marry" then why not create their own traditional method instead of forcing others to change their ways?

I wont say if Gay people are going to Hell or its wrong and so on because in my opinion and belief, that is not up to me but I wont treat them like anything else but a normal human being.

In modern times people are dramatically turning against eachother whether it be religion, lifestyle and so on.

Smile

gay marriages, or the possibility of them, will hardly be the reason for this country's demise

@ Lumara, i see what you're saying about the "tradition factor" - my opposition to gay marriage has little to do with "tradition" - because there's nothing inherently "good" about tradition, and, to me, not a whole lot to be valued in it from a social perspective

it's just wrong, lol -period

It is a good part of the many reasons.
