Uugg...how can you like something that keeps your stomach turning throughout the entire movie??

First horror movies were frightening! Ever tried going to sleep after watching Nightmare on Elm Street as a kid? Now they are just full of gore, blood, guts, and just basically totally disgusting.

I am a fan of some scary movies but majority now days, lets face it, they suck.

I am not really into the gore ones. See today horror movies are focusing on gore more and that suck IMO. I miss the creature ones that I saw as a kid. I miss laying in bed and hearing a noise and wondering if its a monster ready to eat me because of the horror movie I just watched.

Thats my kind of horror.

A few good ones to see:

1. jacob's ladder
2. the serpent in the rainbow
3. in the mouth of madness

Ah...ok great. Believe it or not I haven't seen any of those...well maybe Jacob's ladder. That one sounds very familiar. I'll put them on my blockbuster list thanks!

Jacob's ladder is my all time favorite movie. It is one of them movies you must sit through and watch everything to understand it...

Yes. It isn't so much gory except in the Veitnam scenes but its really mind boggling!
