Hiking
I like hiking, I had even gone hiking to a fort, it was an amazing experience, to be out there, we had gone with a group of friends and had really good fun, have any one of you gone hiking?

RE: Hiking
We got quite a few hiking areas over here with clifs. I love it in the spring and fall but I hate spider webs in my face

RE: Hiking
Grab a stick and swipe them out of the way while you're walking. That's what we do.

RE: Hiking
Aww, come on. The only spiders I don't particularly like is the hand-sized ones around here. They give me a creepy feeling.

RE: Hiking
Big spiders don't bother me as much as banana spiders of black widows and brown recluses. I like daddy long leg spiders. The bigger the spider is, the less lethel but turanchellas(sp) that are big are still pretty creepy!

RE: Hiking
We have a trail we hike/ride bikes on. In the warm weather spiders always put webs up, even though they are harmless ones I have had many a wreck knocking one off my helmet, face, leg, arms. etc.....I absolutely hate spiders!

RE: Hiking
Anyone ever do adventure racing? It's kind of hiking, biking, and navigating all in one.

RE: Hiking
I love to hike but lately haven't done any because I don't have anyone to go with.
My friends who used to do it are all decrepit and can't do it anymore and the healthy ones I know aren't into hiking, except for one who would love to go with me but he is into mind games and I'm not a player. ![]() So I used my tractor to cut a trail around my property and I walk it in good weather. I figured one time around is about a half mile so I'll do it 4-6 times to get exercise. It winds around my springhouse and along the creek so it's a nice trail. But I'm waiting for warmer weather to hit the woods again.
By the time they had diminished from 50 to eight, the other dwarves began to suspect "Hungry". http://www.lightseedsjewelry.com |
