Adaware Personal is an excellent Anti-Spyware program... Windows Defender is a good one too, it also allows you to control what programs start up when you start windows.... I recommend Avast Anti-Virus for virus protection and Comodo Firewall.... They are the ones I have and they have all been good to me.... Just make sure if you have a fire wall like Comodo that you know and understand IP's and Ports or you may not figure out how to unblock some programs LOL
