After watching Sicko I feel angry that we have to live in a country where our health care system is totally corrupt. We need a socialist program like Canada, Sweden, or England where everyone can get health care and not have to pay $200 for a stupid pill that costs 1/200th of that to make!

I find is sad that illegal immigrants can get health care easier than our legal poor kids on the street. I didn't watch Sicko because I don't Like Mike Moore very much but I am sure he made some good points...

IMO if it was made by Mike Moore, therein lies the corruption. Taz used to talk about how great everything was in Canada but he sure as heck wanted to move to the states.......before the unfortunate **getting chocked up** accident. **sniff sniff** There has never been a government that wasn't corrupt, that's because it's run by people. We have nothing to fear however, because Hillary found her "softer" side and will be elected and everything will be just peachy!

I saw Sicko and think Michael Moore made some good points. I really don't know what to believe, though; through our media (which I realize gives us a bunch of propaganda), we hear that universal health care in places like Canada, England, and Cuba isn't all that great because of long waits, health care rationing, etc. yet Michael Moore said in the movie that's exactly what the powers that be in the U.S. WANT us to think since many, such as insurance companies, are making a lot of money from the status quo.

I'm against socialist welfare programs, yet something is wrong with the state of health care in this country. As Shawn pointed out, when illegals get free care while many citizens cannot get any, there is a problem! :@

Yes. It is a bad thing that we have sick and poor kids on the streets who can not get care even though, they are US Citizens but when an illegal alien scrapes his knee, he can get all the car he wants...

Michael Moore has made millions on these issues yet he hasn't handed me a dollar of it....**rolls eyes**. (yes this is a sarcastic statement)
