Voilence in Games

They have banned violence in many games, like man hunt etc, do you think the voilence in games should be banned?
In india they are planning to ban games with graphic and violent content in stores.
I feel its all crap, they don't have a life so they are targetting gamers.
What do you feel?

RE: Voilence in Games

I am unsure.

If you are mature then you shouldn't be affected by music, violent games and so on. Sometimes I feel that is a scapegoat for parents and authority figures who have simply just failed in their duties. Instead of admitting they're wrong, they make up something to cover it up....

Its throughout history sadly...

Yes , it is common sense onc you are bid enough, you don't need to be banned, but even children who play violent games, know the difference between games and real life.
You can't hold out machine guns in your hands just anywhere, so why not in games.

Maybe parents should broaden the thinking and give them a chance.
Our government mostly makes a lot of wrong decisions!!

RE: Voilence in Games

As long as torrents and P2P networks are there...
banning games (talking about India) isn't gonna help.

And yeah.. our Indian govt. has made bad decisions, indeed.
After all, it's headed by a bunch of morons who haven't played a single computer game in their life.
